I like this vet office I really do. They are very nice and pleasant, but my cat broke her leg on Friday and I’m looking to get it amputated due to the difficult placement of the break. (Either that or it would need surgery with pins and plates) I called on September 1st and got told I would get an estimate and sent them her most recent records aswell as the xray. They said the next day their surgeon would be in. So I didnt receive a call or an email the next day, no biggie. On the 3rd I called and was told they would get it looked over. Today I call and they kindly tell me on the phone that they don’t have the estimate yet and will call back with it today. Hours later, I still receive no call, so I call back and got told they no longer offer it and the person I spoke with just forgot to call back and tell me. Respectfully, I’m tired, pregnant, and emotionally hurting from whatever pain my cat is dealing with. She has a broken leg and I shouldn’t have had to wait 4 days to be told it’s not offered by you guys to remove it. This should have been a same day call or ATLEAST the day after. That being said, everyone was very polite, I’m just extremely upset bc I can’t just have my cat sitting with a broken leg (currently splinted) and didn’t know I was going to have to out source to different vets to get it fixed.

I have been a client of Thunderbird Veterinary Hospital for approximately 30 years. The doctors and staff are caring and kind and know how much I love my fur babies. My questions and concerns are answered and phone calls always returned.
